Resource of the Week – Health and Wellness

This is the time of the quarter when students can start to feel stressed. Here are some resources that can help!

Counseling and Health Center (CHC):

Licensed Counselors provide free, short-term goal-focused counseling (up to 10 sessions a year!).
There is also a Nurse Practitioner on staff who can help if you are feeling sick, need prescription medications, or immunizations and TB testing for entry into a health occupation program. Measles vaccinations are also available.
CHC offers several over-the-counter medications, self-care items, hot tea, and snacks free of charge in our lobby. Stop by any time!

Student Success Workshops - Student Success Workshops are open to everyone and have no charge or sign-up. Workshops are led by Clark College counselors, staff and faculty and focus on topics like mindfulness, procrastination, stress management and more.

BITA team: Clark College's BITA (Behavioral Intervention Threat Assessment) team is a proactive, preventative approach to maintaining a safe college environment. If you see another student whose behavior seems like a “red flag” for potential harm or threat to self or others, you can help. If the threat is immediate – call 911. Even if the threat isn’t immediate, it’s still important to act. Please submit a BITA referral form by clicking HERE
